School of Humanities, Sgoil nan Daonnac…

The School of Humanities, the largest in the College of Arts, is at the forefront of research, teaching, and civic engagement. With six Subject Areas and eleven research centres and groups, our work encompasses histories and languages, technologies and collections, theories and traditions, and global issues that concern us all. As well as outstanding teaching and research, the School is renowned for its public engagement, with (amongst other successes) our work on transatlantic slavery forming the basis for Glasgow becoming the Times Higher University of the Year 2020.
