Scholarship for Women in Business

Frankfurt School of Finance & Management


Frankfurt School offers partial scholarships to enhance MBA diversity. Candidates can apply for up to two scholarships in their online MBA application, covering up to 30% of tuition. WHU (Otto Beisheim)


WHU offers scholarships to highly talented candidates worldwide for their MBA program. The scholarships aim to support individuals who can contribute special value to the MBA class. There is no specific amount attached to the scholarships, and applicants can apply using the dedicated scholarship application forms.

One scholarship application per person is allowed, and it requires applying to the Full-Time MBA Program at WHU. As seats and scholarships are limited, early applications are recommended. Scholarship applications must be submitted before signing the study contract.

WHU Diversity Scholarship: Life Experience


Essay question: “Diversity comes in many different forms (e.g. culture, gender, sexual orientation, physical and mental abilities, social background, age). Please explain how diversity has influenced your life experiences (can be personal or professional) and how these experiences have shaped you and your environment.”

WHU Diversity Scholarship: Professional Experience


Essay question: “Professional Diversity comes in many different forms (e.g. industry, education, leadership, academics, position, tenure). Please explain how diversity has influenced your professional and educational experiences and how these experiences have shaped you and your environment.”

WHU Entrepreneurship Scholarship


Essay question: “Entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial thinking are key aspects at WHU. Please explain how the MBA at WHU will help you to fine-tune your entrepreneurial skills.”

WHU Scholarship for Women in Business


Essay question: “What do you think is the most significant barrier to female leadership? How will the MBA at WHU help you to overcome this barrier?”

ESMT Berlin


ESMT Berlin is a top private non-profit business school located in Germany's capital. It was founded in 2002 by 25 global companies like McKinsey & Company and Siemens. The school focuses on leadership, innovation, and analytics, and its diverse faculty publishes outstanding research.

Dean’s Excellence Scholarship


The Dean's Excellence Scholarship at ESMT is awarded to students with outstanding academic credentials, significant professional achievements, and demonstrated leadership skills. Recipients are expected to actively contribute to the ESMT community and represent the school as ambassadors. The scholarship covers 50% of the tuition fees.

Applicants must answer the following question in their MBA application: "What impact would you like to have as an ambassador of ESMT?"

Linde Sustainable Leaders Fellowship


The Linde Sustainable Leaders Fellowship is awarded to applicants who have made a positive social impact by addressing one or more of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. This scholarship recognizes individuals who strive to make the world a better place through their actions and initiatives. Two scholarships worth €11,000 each are available.

Applicants must answer the following question in their MBA application: "How have you positively impacted society or the environment?"

e-fellows Scholarship


The e-fellows Scholarship is open to candidates who have either attended a MasterDay event or are alumni of e-fellows. Applicants meeting this criteria can apply for this scholarship, which offers €10,000 in financial support.

Applicants must answer the following question: "How will receiving this scholarship help you positively contribute to the learning environment of your peers at ESMT?". The application deadline is November 1st, 2023.

HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management


HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management is a private business school in Saxony, Germany, established in 1898. With a focus on entrepreneurship, it has nurtured over 500 startups by its alumni, making it a leading institution in Germany. HHL Dean’s List


The HHL Dean's List Scholarship aims to recognize and reward the most outstanding students in HHL's Master Programs. Eligible candidates should demonstrate distinguished academic performance, impressive professional progression, remarkable international experience, and dedication to social causes or community development.

An outstanding admission interview with an HHL professor and a GMAT score of at least 700 (or HHL Entry Test of at least 17 points) are also considered.

Recipients of the scholarship receive a partial award covering half of the tuition fees for the chosen program, an official scholarship certificate, and an invitation to the yearly Dean's dinner.

The scholarship application, along with a max. 90-second pitch video, should be submitted by June 30th (deadline for each year) to the responsible Manager of Student Affairs at HHL.

HHL Future Entrepreneur Scholarship


The HHL Future Entrepreneur Scholarship is for prospective full-time MBA students who demonstrate entrepreneurial potential and aim to start their own businesses. Applicants must hold an undergraduate degree in any field and have a minimum of three years of work experience.

An above-average GMAT score is required, and only those applying for HHL's full-time MBA Program are eligible. This scholarship offers a tuition reduction of up to 25% for the program.

The selection is based on the evaluation of the scholarship application, which includes a task where they choose a moment (photographs provided) reflecting their entrepreneurial experience and provide an explanation.

Successful full-time MBA program applicants will be notified about the scholarship decision. The deadline for applying is specified by the university and must be submitted with the program application.

HHL Women in Business Scholarship


The HHL Women in Business Scholarship is designed to support exceptional female candidates of all academic and national backgrounds who demonstrate strong motivation and outstanding professional and academic credentials. The scholarship offers a tuition reduction of up to 25% for the full-time MBA Program.

To apply, candidates must submit the scholarship application along with their program application and respond to a specific task, choosing a moment that reflects women making a difference in business and explaining their choice.
