Overview

IU’s online M.A. Information Technology Management is designed to train students to successfully handle the planning, selection, design and implementation in the dynamic field of information and communications technologies. The programme will equip students with knowledge of the fundamentals of IT, from software to hardware, governance and compliance as well as risk assessment and leadership modules, enabling them to become leaders in the IT industry. It can be studied anytime and anywhere, but also on IU campuses.

2nd Semester

Academic Requirements:

  • Completed degree from a public or officially recognised university/higher education institution in relevant field.
  • At least a “satisfactory” or Grade C equivalent earned in your previous degree.
  • Your undergraduate degree should be worth 240 ECTS credits.
  • Professional Experience:
    For some 60-ECTS master programmes, you will need to have achieved one year of professional work experience before starting your studies.
  • English Level:
    Proof of English skills.
    Speexx B2.2 Certificate (complimentary when signing up with IU - free of charge)
    If English is your native language or you graduated from an English-speaking school/university, you do not have to prove your English skills.

The specialisation courses that are a part of this study programme, are a cluster of courses dedicated to diving deep into a specific topic related to the programme. When choosing a specialisation, you get to explore a potential future career path, or just develop a strong knowledge base about a topic that particularly interests you.

120 ECTS Students – choose specialisation courses amounting to 20 ECTS, and develop the skills of an expert master in management of technology.

60 ECTS Students – choose specialisation courses amounting to 10 ECTS, and focus on the key aspects of information technology management that best suit your goals and career ambitions.

  • Your undergraduate studies must amount to 240 ECTS credits to begin a 60-ECTS MA.
