Formed in 2010, the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences brings together internationally-renowned experts and state-of-the-art facilities to improve health and quality of life for humans and animals across the globe.  The College also provides innovative teaching for our students, preparing them for a wide variety of exciting careers.
The College is organised into seven Research Institutes, each focussed on key strategic research themes and delivering several postgraduate degree programmes. Our research generates income exceeding £100m per annum and is focussed on improving the health and quality of life of humans and animals across the globe.

The College also includes three Schools that deliver internationally recognised research-led undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes and build upon the diversity of our College's extensive research activity, providing our students with a rich stimulating learning environment which prepares them for a wide variety of careers ranging from clinical medicine and veterinary medicine to biological and environmental science.
