The School of Environment and Energy (School of Environmental Energy) was established in 2009. The school’s mission is to establish frontier environmental and energy disciplines, set a model for low-carbon research and teaching, cultivate elite talents capable of solving environmental and energy problems, and develop environmentally friendly leading industries. The development of new energy research and development promotes the sustainable development of the human social environment and energy. The college is committed to researching the atmospheric environment, water environment and solid waste pollution issues in the context of urbanization, developing pollutants and waste recycling technologies, developing new renewable energy technologies, and comprehensively researching the world from multiple levels of technology, finance, and management. And solutions to regional environmental energy problems.
      At present, the college has established a high-level international teaching and research team of more than 30 people (7 professors, 5 associate professors, 2 assistant professors, 4 associate researchers, 4 assistant researchers, and 8 postdoctoral fellows); 12 teachers in the headquarters of Peking University; There are more than 10 visiting professors; nearly 200 postgraduates and doctoral students in the school.
